This amazing handheld 5 LED flashlight never needs any batteries to be installed or replaced. In fact there is no battery compartment. When you need illumination just repeatedly pull the built in "string" recharger with the top mounted release. When finished the recharger snaps back in place.

The 5 bright LEDs produce a bright very well focused beam that illuminates a very good area. The actual brightness is much much brighter than the single LED shake type flashlights.

The flashlight measures approximately 9 x 2" and weighs less than a pound so it easily fits in the glove compartment, backpack, tackle box or any other location where it can be accessed when needed.

II. CHARGING METHOD

• When the LED gets dim, turn it off and pull the rope at a speed of 120 times per minute. The pulling dynamo charges the built in batteries and it will power the flashlight up to 10 minutes with a quick 1 minute pulling.

• Charge the cell phone batteries. The package comes with a Nokia cord that you can use to charge many Nokia cell phones directly. Connect the cord to the outlet of the flashlight and to the cell phone. Pull the rope at a speed 120 times per minute and the system will charge the cell phone. For other types of the cell phone battery, use the universal charger adaptor to hold the battery. Pull the rope and charge the battery. The output charging voltage is about 4.8 – 5.0V at a current of 300ma (depending on how fast the rope is pulled)

• Caution: Use the polarity switch on the universal charger to select proper polarity before charge the battery. It is in the correct polarity when the green light is on and the charging LED glows.

• The DC jack on the flashlight can be used as an Output or Input jack. If you use it as a power source, it outputs the power to charge the cell phone batteries. You can also use this jack as input to charge the built-in batteries with an appropriate AC adaptor.
