The Merkury portable stereo FM Transmitter can be used to transmit the stereo audio from any iPod, Zune, Zen or any other MP3 Player or audio device to any FM radio especially in a car or house.

We have tested MANY FM transmitters over the past two years and many have either been expensive, without many important functions or had mediocre performance. This FM transmitter is by far the BEST that we have tested and we have had many associates (including one broadcast engineer) perform testing with the units and all were very impressed and would not give the units back.

The Merkury FM transmitter is somewhat similar to a famous brand that sells for between $40 and $50 at major electronic stores and is not as easy to use as this version and the car cigarette lighter power adapter is optional with the other brand but it is INCLUDED with this package.

The major benefits that this system has that many others don't:

• EXCELLENT performance - (better distance than most and much better than some others)

Choose from any frequency between 88.1 and 107.9 MHz that does not have a local station in your area. Set your wireless transmitter to this frequency and your stereo to this same frequency and enjoy the music through your home or car stereo. Many lesser units only allow the selection of four FM channels and are limited in very congested cities. Three of your favorite frequencies are able to be saved within the units three memory positions for easy recall.

For best sound it is recommended that the player's volume control be set at 50 to 75% of maximum. Performance is best in vehicles that have a front mounted exterior antenna and lesser for autos that have a rear or hidden antennas.
